Entering the Victorian Football Association in 1951 (now known as the Victorian Football League) the Box Hill Hawks are the only VFL team representing the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, the most populous Australian rules region in Australia.

Since 2000 Box Hill have been the aligned partner of Hawthorn Football Club. Now in its thirteenth season the alignment between Box Hill Hawks and Hawthorn is the only original VFL/AFL alignment still in place.

Home matches are played at Box Hill City Oval from April to September featuring many AFL listed players. Each home game the club hosts a President’s Luncheon in the recently opened function centre, The Pavilion, with a two course lunch on offer. The Pavilion is also available for hire during the week and non-match days for any type of function.

Box Hill Hawks also offer a range of sponsorship opportunities to companies in the Eastern Suburbs including branding, business-to-business networking and hospitality. Each season Box Hill Hawks home matches are broadcast on ABC providing television exposure for the club and our partners.
