MATCH-DAY EXPERIENCE

In addition to the season-opening blockbuster match between the Hawks and the Cats, there are plenty of reasons to pack the MCG with brown and gold on Easter Monday.

#brownandgold

Look out for our giant physical #brownandgold hashtag located outside Gate 5 on the concourse.

Take a smiley snap of yourself and include the hashtag, post it to Twitter or Instagram using #brownandgold and be in the draw to win a brown and gold merchandise pack. Creativity counts!

The prize pack consists of a 2015 guernsey, scarf and beanie.

2014 premiership flag unfurling

The flag unfurling ceremony will take place on the MCG from 2.50pm and will involve a special guest who will be revealed on match-day.

Five families of generational Hawthorn members, who boast a combined total of 467 years of service to the club, will also be a part of the celebration along with number one ticket holders Dulcie Kennedy and Peter Hudson.

President Andrew Newbold will make a brief address before the 2014 premiership flag floats onto the field and is presented to members.

HawksNest Merchandise

Located between Gates 4 and 5 outside the MCG.
Members receive 10% discount on presentation of their 2015 membership card.

Your host and junior sidekick

Australian television and radio presenter Shura Taft will guide Hawks members and fans through the match-day experience, along with the club’s junior sidekick Angus.

Fly the flag

Help create a sea of brown and gold as the players make their way onto the field for the final warm-up. Join the 25 giant-flag bearers who will fan out along the boundary line, by waving your flag and cheering the team on ahead of the bounce.

Player playlist

Each home game a boundary line DJ will play a mix of a Hawks’ player personally selected set list. Find out which Hawk is a country and western fan!
