Star Hawk Emily Bates has topped her team's best and fairest awards at the W Awards on Monday night.
The co-vice-captain polled five votes for her efforts in 2023, closely followed by captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd on four votes, Greta Bodey and Kaitlyn Ashmore on three votes and Tahlia Fellows on two votes.
Jasmine Fleming also polled in the top five of the AFLW Rising Star votes for a second consecutive season, backing up her third place finish in 2022 with seven votes in 2023 to finish fifth.
Bates' first vote came of the night in Round 1 where she amassed a team-high 18 disposals and game-high 15 tackles in her first appearance as Hawk.
She received her next vote against her old team, Brisbane, in Round 5 after recording a team-high 17 disposals and a game-high 14 tackles.
It was the following round that saw Bates receive three votes from the umpires, despite her team's nine-point loss against St Kilda.
The 28-year-old was everywhere for the Hawks and topped all disposal-getters on the ground with 31 to go with 23 contested possessions, 11 tackles and 10 clearances.
Lucas-Rodd polled for the first time in Round 2, receiving one vote for their one goal, 21 disposals, seven tackles and four marks.
The 27-year-old's name was next called out in Round 7 where the skipper received a perfect three votes against Sydney.
In that game, Lucas-Rodd tallied 18 disposals, five marks and five tackles.
Bodey's three votes for the night all came in Round 9 after the silky forward booted a match-winning and career-high four goals in her side's eight-point win over Port Adelaide.
Ashmore polled in two rounds, receiving one vote for her 19 disposals, seven tackles and six marks against Fremantle in Round 3, and two votes for her team-high 23 disposals, nine marks and seven tackles in Round 7 against Sydney.
Fellows rounded out Hawthorn's votes in Round 9 with two votes for her nine disposals and five tackles against the Power.
