HAWTHORN has strengthened its ruck stocks with the selection of former Collingwood ruckman Jonathon Ceglar in the 2012 Rookie Draft.

Ceglar, a 204cm ruckman spent two years on Collingwood's senior list before being delisted at the conclusion of the 2012 season.

He spent his two seasons developing at Collingwood in the VFL.

He was invited to train with the Club in late November where he has impressed Hawks recruiters.

He was originally pre-listed by Gold Coast after spending an extra season in the TAC Cup with the Murray Bushrangers. He was traded to Collingwood along with Andrew Krakouer during the 2010 trade period for selection 25 in that year's draft.

Irishman Ciaran Kilkenny also officially joined the Club as an International Rookie and has been training with the Club on a full time basis.
