The Hawks hit the track on Thursday for their main training session ahead of Saturday night's blockbuster against Sydney Swans at the MCG.

Beginning with some goal kicking practice, the players trained for approximately 90 minutes as they split up into two groups and two teams within those groups to move the footy around by hand and foot.

A full ground match simulation was then followed by some light tackling drills to close the session.
