Hawthorn star Jarryd Roughead has been nominated for the AFL's Mark of the Year award.

The big Hawk soared against the Pies on Friday night, getting the sit over Collingwood's Lachlan Keeffe as he came from the side to take a nice hanger over his opponenet.

Roughead went back and slotted the goal from point blank range with five and a half minutes left on the clock in the second term, sparking a run of seven unanswered Hawthorn goals from the 21-minute mark of the second term to the 20-minute mark of the third quarter.
