Hawthorn Football Club has released Danny Frawley from his recently appointed position.

Frawley, who was due to start at Hawthorn today as the part-time specialist backline and key position coach, will take on a role at St Kilda.

The St Kilda position became available after Luke Beveridge was appointed Senior Coach of the Western Bulldogs on Friday.
