The weekend might be just about upon us but there was no break in training for the Hawks on Friday.

To close a big opening week of pre-season training for the first-to-fourth year players, the group headed out onto the training track on Friday morning for another big skills and running session before heading indoors to hit the gym.

Pre-season training is as much about adding size to your frame as it is about building fitness for a big season, so the young Hawks were keen to get stuck into their weights programs.

New Hawk James Frawley was full of encouragement for his new teammates and there was plenty of talk and motivation within the group to help each other through the session.
