As Hawthorn Football Club embarks on season 2015, the time has come for the Club to reflect on its history and celebrate one of its most iconic features – the colours that have embodied everything it has been for more than 80 years – the brown and gold.

Hawthorn has long been synonymous with its unique brown and gold colours. Over the years, the Club has shared the values of the brown and gold with its members and supporters, but never has there been a celebration of arguably the most iconic colours in the league.

Evoking the passion and loyalty of all those involved, in 2015 we ask what it means for them to be Made from BROWN and GOLD.

Hawthorn CEO Stuart Fox is proud to recognise the Club's rich history and calls on members and supporters to identify with its most iconic feature.

"Members and supporters can immerse themselves in all that is brown and gold in 2015, and share what it means for them to be made from brown and gold," he said.

The Made from BROWN and GOLD campaign was born from wanting to capture and immortalise the Club’s leadership team and new popular players, while acknowledging what makes Hawthorn unique.

Featuring Captain Luke Hodge, Vice-Captains Jordan Lewis and Jarryd Roughead, forwards Luke Breust and Jack Gunston, defender Grant Birchall, and on-ballers Cyril Rioli and Bradley Hill across various activities, the players take on a distinctly 'gold' appearance in celebration of the Club's colours.

There's also more of a focus on the guernsey in all its brown and gold glory.

During season 2015, members and supporters will have a number of opportunities to share what it means to them to be Made from BROWN and GOLD. Keep up-to-date with the latest on hawthornfc.com.au, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
