It might be Friday but there was no slacking off for the players as they hit the ground running in the morning...literally.

First up, the group headed out onto the Waverley Park oval for a skills and running session that lasted approximately two hours before heading back inside for a much-needed bite to eat before getting stuck back into it.

Post-lunch, the players were split into five groups where they first ventured into the warm-up area to work on their touch before then hitting the weights.

It was a big day of training.
