Hobart

On day one of Community Camp the boys were divided into three groups across the city. The first group, consisting of Brian Lake, Paul Puopolo and Tim O'Brien, ventured to Port Arthur to visit grade 6 students at Dodges Ferry Primary School where they joined in on various activities and discussed healthy eating habits and leadership. They then headed down the road to Dunalley Primary School where students from grades 3-6 enjoyed a footy clinic and Q & A session with the players.

The second group, consisting of Isaac Smith, Kurt Heatherley and Zac Webster headed to Holy Rosary Catholic School and Kempton Primary to conduct a Q & A sesion with the kids followed by a skills and drills session and autograph signing. In the evening the group headed to Hobart City Football Club to host clinic with the juniors and helped out with a BBQ afterwards.

The third group headed to Huonville Primary School for a talk on healthy eating, excercising and the importance of drinking water. They then ventured to Sacred Heart Geeveston to chat to the students about what they eat for lunch and discussed why excercise is important.

Launceston

Jordan Lewis, Jed Anderson, Bradley Hill and Jermaine Miller-Lewis visited two schools, Riverside Primary, the largest school in Tasmania, and Glen Dhu School to conduct footy activities and get to know the locals. The players loved to hear about the schools' Move Well Eat Well program, keeping the kids living healthy lifestyles.

Another group hit Larmenier Primary followed by West Launceston Primary for some skills and drills with the students. The day was capped off with a night visit to the Launceston City Council Twilight Fiesta at Seaport where the boys participated in a Master Chef Challenge.

A third group travelled to East Tamar Primary to chat to about 60 kids about healthy living. They then ventured to Scotch Oakburn College to meet 200 kids and compete in organised games.
