After spending the day with Hawks fans at the club's annual Family Day at Glenferrie Oval on Sunday, it was back down to business early on Monday morning for the players.

With the third and final NAB Challenge game just four days away, the playing group hit the track early to prepare to face St Kilda at Etihad Stadium on Thursday night.

With a warm day predicted in Melbourne, the players were greeted by a bright-shining sun and relatively warm conditions for the skills and running session.

Training began with standard warm-ups before players were split into groups that focused on kicking and touch.

The players then broke up into groups where they were split into offence and defence and vice versa as they focused on moving the ball quickly.
