The Hawks are inviting all fans down to the Ricoh Centre on Easter Sunday to watch the team prepare for its final training session ahead of their season opener at the MCG the following day.

Fans can enjoy an egg-celent atmosphere with an Easter egg hunt prior to training and special appearances from the Easter Bunny and Hawka!

HawksNest and the Membership department will be open from 9am – 12pm so make sure you stock up on all your Hawks gear in preparation for Round 1.


Easter egg hunt

Children 12 years and under are invited to participate in the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt on the grassed area in front of the grandstand prior to training commencing.

Details for the hunt are as follows

Meeting time: 9.30am sharp
Meeting point: Please meet a club representative at the John Kennedy statue
Start time: 9.45am
Finish time: All participants cleared from the area by 10am
Training commences: 10.15am

Parents are free to spectate from outside the designated area. If your child needs to be accompanied, please let a staff member know and you will receive one collecting bag between you to make it fair for all.

Spaces may be limited so please ensure you arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

Limited Easter egg collecting buckets will be available however we encourage you to bring your own small bag.

Training time is subject to change at late notice. All chocolates used in the hunt are Cadbury Dairy Milk Easter Eggs. In the event of inclement weather the hunt will not be taking place.
