In November last year Hawks veteran Sam Mitchell attended the sixth annual Leaders Sport Performance Summit, which was held at the home of Arsenal FC, Emirates Stadium.

The four-time Peter Crimmins Medallist was the first ever playing athlete to attend the conference, which gathers 500 of sport’s most elite coaches, managers, sporting directors, technical directors and performance directors to exchange ideas and knowledge, inspiring excellence in sport.

Igniting discussions around peak performance, showcasing ideas and uncovering hidden opportunities, the event champions professional excellence and provides a platform for professionals, who otherwise might not cross paths, to exchange ideas and contribute towards making the field of play an even more competitive space.

Watch Sam Mitchell discuss psychology, induction programmes for young players and leadership.
