COLLINGWOOD has named two debutants in its team to play Hawthorn at the MCG tonight.

First-year players Darcy Moore and Brayden Maynard are the Magpies’ two inclusions, replacing Tyson Goldsack (knee) and Paul Seedsman (omitted).

Key position player Moore was recruited by the Magpies with pick nine in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft, and is the son of 1979 Brownlow Medallist and former Collingwood captain Peter Moore.

He has been named in a forward pocket.

Maynard was drafted with pick 30, and has been named on a half-back flank.

Ruckman Brodie Grundy was considered a chance to return for the Magpies, but has been named in the club’s VFL side.
