BOX Hill Hawks coach Marco Bello says his side had a wide range of contributors in its 90-point win against Northern Blues.

Bello said forward James Sicily – who finished with eight goals and was this week's Player In Focus – was the standout at the end of the day, but there were plenty of strong performers.

Shem Tatupu (forward)

“Shem played a part in probably six or seven score assists and finished with one goal himself. It was pleasing to see him share the load with others.”

Will Langford (midfield)

“Will had really good energy and controlled the centre clearances for us as well as stoppages around the ground, with his clean ball use and his aggression at the footy.”

Jonathan O’Rourke (midfield)

“Jono was of a similar vein (to Will). He probably finished with 23 or 24 disposals, and was a conduit between the defensive end and the forward end for us.

Teia Miles (defence)

“Teia finished with 26 or 27 disposals I think. He provided us with really good ball use and was involved in multiple efforts from one end to the other.”

Angus Litherland (defence)

“Gus again played a good defensive role. His ability to run up the ground and use his speed and aggression (was important).”
