Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Hawks each week exclusive to hawthornfc.com.au.

Last Week

In the last trip to Tassie for the year, the Hawks not only achieved a big win over the Lions, they racked up a mammoth 1848 Fantasy points between them.

Forwards Jack Gunston (126) and Jarryd Roughead (118) led the way booting four and three goals respectively. Roughy also had 30 disposals thanks to some stints on the ball at times during the game.

Ben McEvoy (110) and David Hale (83) shared the ruck duties finishing with 23 hitouts a piece.

13 Hawks scored over 80 points, including Jordan Lewis (106) and Liam Shiels (114) who had 65 disposals between them. Isaac Smith (78) was in everything before being subbed out of the game in the third quarter must to the disappointment of his Fantasy owners.

Sam Mitchell was a late withdrawal before the game due to illness.

What’s Coming Up

It was only a few weeks ago that the Hawks played the Blues but they meet again this week.

Jack Gunston (161) booted six majors to lead all scorers. He was supported by Luke Hodge (130), Sam Mitchell (124), Josh Gibson (112) and Jordan Lewis (111) who all racked up massive scores.

It is likely that our Hawthorn boys will go big again, so buckle up and get on board some of the boys in the brown and gold for your Fantasy Grand Final this weekend.

Season Wrap

Luke Hodge is currently the highest averaging Hawk and pick of the defenders with 111.1. Unfortunately he is missing the last two rounds of the season and has only played 17 games for 2015. Jordan Lewis also missed three games this year but has been outstanding in the ones he has played averaging 110.8 points per game.

Playing in all but one game, Isaac Smith leads the way for total points scored with 1997 ahead of Lewis (1994), Sam Mitchell (1958) and Jack Gunston (1937).
