SIX Hawks have shared in the coaches’ votes after the 72point win over the Brisbane Lions, with Liam Shiels voted best on ground.

Shiels was awarded seven votes after he gathered a team-high 34 disposals and seven clearances, and kicked one goal.

Celebrating his 100th game, Jack Gunston’s four goals and 10 marks ensured he was included in the votes, with five handed to the mobile forward after playing a critical part in the Hawks’ victory.

Bradley Hill and Jarryd Roughead also earned five votes each.

Roughead was a standout for the Hawks as he accumulated a season-high 30 disposals, along with five clearances and three goals, while Hill had six inside 50s from 30 disposals of his own at 90% efficiency.

Jordan Lewis (31 disposals) and Shaun Burgoyne (29 disposals, one goal) were awarded two and one votes respectively by coaches Alastair Clarkson and Justin Leppitsch.

Lions captain Tom Rockliff was also handed five votes for his performance.
