AT just 22 years of age, Bradley Hill has already achieved plenty as a footballer.

The line-breaking wingman has established himself as a critically important player for the Hawks, and is now a three-time premiership player after producing another strong season – if not his best yet – in 2015.

With 75 games under his belt, Hill continues to improve.

In partnership with Isaac Smith and Billy Hartung, he plays a crucial role for the Hawks, providing run and carry on a wing.

Hill averaged just shy of 20 disposals per match across his 24 games in 2015.

He ranked fifth at the club for uncontested possessions, fourth for inside 50s, fourth for goal assists and first for running bounces, providing an attacking presence for the Hawks.

In nine matches, Hill collected 24 disposals or more, including a career-best 33 disposals against Gold Coast Suns in Round 9.

In slippery conditions against the Suns, seven inside 50s, four tackles and a goal assist complemented Hill’s disposal count.

He backed up that performance, contributing strongly in wins against Collingwood and Adelaide Crows in the weeks to come.

Hill experienced a couple of quieter weeks heading towards finals, but bounced back to recapture his best form just before September.

Thirty and 27-disposal games the fortnight before the finals series, against Brisbane Lions and Carlton respectively, laid a platform for a consistent finals series.

That form continued in the Hawks’ semi final and preliminary final victories, with important performances against the Crows and Fremantle Dockers.

GM - Football Operations Chris Fagan says...

“If you asked Hilly, he’ll tell you the reason we’ve won the past three flags is because he’s the lucky charm. He’ll do that with a smile on his face because he’s a really humble bloke,” Fagan said.

“This year he continued to be an important running link player for us.

“In the finals, on the bigger Domain Stadium and the width of the MCG, his ability to run from one end of the field to the other to either receive the ball or create space for somebody else was a real highlight.

“He bobs up with the occasional goal for us as well, and often he’s run from the back pocket to the forward pocket to do that.

“We think he’s had another good year, and he’s continuing to develop.”
