BOX HILL Hawks welcome back three key players for their important clash with Geelong Cats at Simonds Stadium on Sunday.

Will Langford, Angus Litherland and Marc Pittonet all return from AFL debut.

Langford is set to line-up alongside younger brother Lachlan, who has been named on an extended interchange bench, for the first time in a VFL match.

The Hawks sit in fifth spot on the ladder, with five wins from eight matches, while the Cats sit in 11th spot, with three wins and five losses.

A win for the Hawks will see them keep pace with the top four, while a win for the Cats could catapult them inside the top eight.

The Hawks will be looking to rebound, after a loss to Northern Blues last week, while the Cats will also be out to return to the winners’ list, after losses to Footscray and Sandringham.

Thirteen Hawthorn-listed players feature in the Box Hill squad.

Midfielder Jonathan O’Rourke is out, but the side boasts a number of players looking to push for an AFL recall, including the returning trio, Kaiden Brand and Kieran Lovell.

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7 on Sunday afternoon.

*The development side plays Frankston at 11am on Saturday morning at Frankston Oval
