HAWTHORN forward Tim O'Brien has received a Round 13 Mark of the Year nomination.

O'Brien sat on the shoulders of North Melbourne defender Jamie MacMillan in the second quarter of Friday night's win against the Kangaroos, pulling in a spectacular mark at half back, just before half time.

The 22-year-old was the third Hawk to receive a nomination this year - following in the footsteps of fellow forwards Cyril Rioli and Paul Puopolo.

The other two nominees from Round 13 were Essendon's Martin Gleeson and North Melbourne's Mason Wood.
