BOX HILL Hawks will be looking to rebound from back-to-back defeats when they take on Port Melbourne in a must-win match at North Port Oval on Saturday.

The seventh-placed Hawks (5-4) take on the eighth-placed Borough (5-4), with a win important for both sides as they look to keep pace with the top four.

The Hawks will again be without Jonathan O’Rourke (thumb) and Dallas Willsmore (hamstring).

However, Box Hill has not lost three consecutive games since mid-2011, and will be determined to fight back this week.

Despite losses to fellow finals contenders Geelong and Northern Blues over the past two weeks, there have been plenty of positive signs for the Hawks.

Key defender Kurt Heatherley and midfielder Kieran Lovell have both produced an impressive fortnight of football, while Angus Litherland, Teia Miles and Brendan Whitecross are among a group of players who continue to perform for the Hawks.
