HAWTHORN star Sam Mitchell was at his brilliant best in Sunday's win against the Gold Coast Suns.

Mitchell again passed the 30-disposal mark, finishing with 35 touches to arguably be the Hawks' standout performer.

The veteran midfielder also collected eight clearances, five tackles and five inside 50s to continue his outstanding season.
