HAWTHORN has made two changes to its side ahead of Sunday’s clash with Collingwood at the MCG.

Jack Fitzpatrick and Ryan Schoenmakers have been selected for Hawthorn’s final home-and-away game of 2016.

Schoenmakers has endured a frustrating season, playing the first three home-and-away games before a groin injury halted his season.

The 2015 premiership player has played two games at VFL level and will add some height and experience to Hawthorn’s forward line.

Jack Fitzpatrick has yet to don the brown and gold after crossing from Melbourne at the end of last season. Fitzpatrick has battled concussion for a large portion of the season, but has been in solid form at Box Hill after returning to football in late July.

"Ryan is really important to our structure and it's great to finally get him back in the side,” GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said.

“Despite our initial concerns, Ryan’s groin injury has progressed really well and he's been able to get some solid hit-outs through Box Hill.

"It's great for Jack Fitzpatrick to get his first opportunity to play senior football at Hawthorn – with Jon Ceglar out for the rest of the season it opens the door for Jack to come in and play his role.

"He's shown some good form at VFL level and we look forward to him taking his opportunity this week.”

Ruckman Jonathon Ceglar will miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury he sustained in last week’s loss to the Eagles, while defender Kaiden Brand has been omitted.

Hawthorn will take on Collingwood at 3.20pm Sunday at the MCG.
