The Hawks will swap the football for a cricket bat when they take on the Kangaroos in the 2017 ‘Biggest Game of Cricket’.

The T20 charity match has been organised by the Ponting Foundation, with all proceeds helping young Australians beat cancer.

Cricketing legend Damien Fleming will join as team captain, with Luke Hodge and Jarryd Roughead rounding out the leadership group.

Several big-name Hawks have been listed in the 18-man squad, including Senior Coach Alastair Clarkson and favourite son Shane Crawford.
