Hawthorn will return home to Waverley on Saturday evening, having completed their Australia Post AFL Community Camp in Launceston.

Aside from training commitments and their first JLT encounter against Geelong on Friday night, the Hawks have been making the most of their Tassie time by visiting schools to support the ‘Looking After ME’ program and getting involved in other community initiatives.

Josh Gibson and Hawthorn staff visited the Prospect Hawks women’s side on Thursday afternoon to offer advice to the aspiring athletes hoping to make it at AFL level.

While a short hiatus was taken on Friday so the team could focus on the JLT match, the boys were straight back into it on Saturday morning, competing in an entertaining ‘sell off’ at the local harvest market.

James Sicily spent his morning zip lining 20 metres above ground at the Penny Royal Adventures park, while several of the boys completed a match simulation with the kids and families attending Gala Day at UTAS Stadium.

Meanwhile in Hobart, Luke Breust, Brendan Whitecross, Ollie Hanrahan and the Davern family we're checking out the sights of the city in a scenic helicopter tour.

Footage on HawksTV to come; in the meantime, enjoy the best photos from what was a wonderful community camp instalment.
