ST KILDA has ended Hawthorn's 19-match winning streak in Tasmania with a stunning 75-point belting on Saturday afternoon.

The Hawks hadn't lost at University of Tasmania Stadium since 2012, but were completely outclassed by the Saints in a 19.16 (130) to 8.7 (55) result.

After leading by 22 points at half-time, St Kilda piled on eight goals in the third term to put the game to bed and then added another five in the final quarter.

Champion Saint Nick Riewoldt booted four goals - including the 700th of his career - while Josh Bruce and Tim Membrey combined for six.

Running defender Dylan Roberton continued his awesome start to the season with a stack of touches of half-back as well as two goals.

Tom Mitchell played a lone hand for Hawthorn with over 30 touches, while Ben McEvoy was also a strong presence in the ruck.

Jack Steven was awarded the Silk Miller Medal for his 36-disposal best afield performance.
