To make sure you get your Hawthorn fix during bye week, we're counting down our top individual Hawk performances so far in 2017.

Despite Hawthorn posting just four wins at the half way point of the season, there have still been several individual highlights that have sparked hope and excitement amongst Hawks fans.

Finally, in at number one....

Tom Mitchell

Round 9

50 possessions, 8 marks, 8 tackles, 5 clearances

Tom Mitchell has not wasted any time this season in proving his ball-getting ability to the Hawthorn faithful.

Having led the league-wide disposal count for the majority of the season, Mitchell’s best tally so far came in Round 9 against Collingwood when the former Swan amassed an incredible 50 disposals.

It was a typical, workman-like performance for Mitchell, with 22 of his 50 possessions being contested.

It was an incredible achievement for the 24-year old, who became the first Hawk to reach the half-century mark in the history of the club.

The Hawks midfielder also become only the seventh player in league history to record 50 or more disposals.
