Harry Morrison

30 disposals, 7 marks, 11 tackles

“He has a really good balance each week between contested and uncontested. He’s not afraid of winning it at the coalface, and then he can spread really hard so he’s a really hard worker. He loves getting from contest to contest. He finished with 11 tackles as well. He’s shown a bit, being able to go back but then also in the midfield he is enjoying it in there. He loves to run and create. He had a couple of score assists as well so he continues to get better.” CN

Kade Stewart

23 disposals, 4 marks, 13 tackles, 1 goal

“He loves the aggressive nature of footy and he actually used the ball really well in the wet conditions, he went at 82 per cent disposal efficiency which is quite high for those conditions. It’s good to see him get a bit of the ball and use it as well. We just like the intensity that he brings around the contest. We also like the fact that he can then go forward, and very rarely does he not hit the scoreboard. So, another solid game from Kade.” CN

Ollie Hanrahan

17 disposals, 7 tackles, 2 goals

“Ollie has the ability to find time with the footy and, in congestion, he can use his legs to get out of situations. He’s still developing, he’s still got a lot to learn but he played a similar type role, on-ball and forward. The thing I liked about Ollie’s game this week was his seven tackles, which is an element that any young guy has to bring each week. He’s trying to find that balance of offense and defence, but the more exposure he gets in the middle of the ground the better off he’ll be. He’s a really good kid, who brings a lot of energy each week.” CN

Teia Miles

16 disposals, 4 marks, 4 tackles, 2 goals

“’Milesy’ played all forward, he didn’t really get any exposure in the midfield throughout the day. He’s really dangerous around goal. He missed one he could have kicked so he could have finished with three goals. His workrate is unbelievable at the moment, he’s really getting up the ground and helping us set up defensively. But then he loves ripping back to goal offensively as well. I think all of his GPS results are quite elite at the moment. We’re really happy with the workrate he is bringing into his game.” CN

Marc Pittonet

14 disposals, 4 marks, 10 tackles, 49 hit-outs, 1 goal

“He hit the scoreboard this week, he’s kicked a few points this year but that was his first goal, which was good. It’s good to see him get some reward. His workrate was terrific on the day. He was up against it, playing against a former All Australian player (in Todd Goldstein). He was really keen to play a really physical brand of footy. He had ten tackles, which is what we love about ‘Pitto’. His follow-up work is his real strength and he becomes another on-baller around the stoppage once the ball hits the ground. Five inside 50s, two score assists and a couple of contested marks, so we’re really happy with his output.” CN

Ty Vickery

11 disposals, 3 marks, 4 tackles, 10 hit-outs, 1 goal

“He worked really hard around the ground. He ended up with 1.2, so he’s still getting a lot of opportunities on goal. He’s working hard at creating some synergy with the other tall forwards at Box Hill. Ty’s leadership and workrate around the ground has been proven. He didn’t get as much exposure in the ruck this week as last week but he competed when he had to in there.” CN

Kurt Heatherley

6 disposals, 1 mark, 1 tackle

“Six disposals are low for Kurt. But he’s a tall back, so his expectation isn’t whether he’s able to rack up possession but I think that’s an added bonus when he’s playing his best footy. The weather probably wasn’t conducive for him to take marks from opposition boot, but his defensive actions were really strong on the day. He had quite a few spoils and I thought he was pretty solid on the day.” CN

Mitchell Lewis

3 disposals, 2 marks, 1 tackle

“Mitch was probably similar to Kurt in many ways. His defensive actions were pretty strong, he had a couple of really strong spoils. He didn’t have as many possessions as he did the week before but I still think that playing as a defender may be an avenue for him. It might not be his set position long-term but I think he is just one of those kids that loves to learn and he is learning a lot at the moment.” CN
