Hawks superstar Luke Hodge is set to return this week to make his final trip down to Tasmania as Hawthorn takes on North Melbourne on Sunday.

The game will see Hodge pass club Hall of Fame inductee Don Scott for games played in the brown and gold and match Chris Langford’s tally of 303 matches to entire the club’s top five on the all-time games list.

Hodge’s premiership teammate Paul Puopolo will again try to prove his fitness ahead of the clash with the Kangaroos.

The small forward has been nearing a return over the past fortnight, having been nursing an adductor strain he suffered in the Round 14 win over Adelaide.

In the VFL, Kade Stewart was exceptional, as the ladder-leading Box Hill Hawks were 52-point victors over Geelong.

Stewart gathered 27 possessions, six marks and two tackles to go with a four-goal haul that is sure to catch the attention of the selection committee.

While Kieran Lovell (28 possessions), continuing his strong return from a shoulder injury, and Kurt Heatherley (17 disposals and seven marks) were also named amongst Box Hill’s best players.
