The AFL has announced its squads set to take part in the 2017 EJ Whitten Legends Game, to take place at Etihad Stadium on September 1st.
Several familiar Hawthorn names have been included in the star-studded line-ups, including current assistant coaches Adem Yze and Damian Monkhurst, as well as Box Hill Senior Coach Chris Newman.
Campbell Brown, Matt Spangher and Daniel Harford will play their role for the Victorian side, while Brian Lake and Mark Williams are set to pull on the All Stars’ Guernsey.

AFL games record holder and Victorian debutant Brent Harvey said although the players have all retired, their hunger for the contest is still well and truly alive.
“We may not be in our playing prime but I think that there will be some serious white line fever on the night,” said Harvey.
While North Melbourne premiership star and All Star Coach Wayne Carey believes his squad will be tough to beat.
“Lake, McGrath, Cooney, Mooney, Cummings, now that’s not a spine I’d like to go up against. The Vics are going to have their work cut out for them.” Carey said.
