Hawthorn has made two changes to its line up ahead of Saturday’s Round 22 clash against Carlton.

After strong performances for Box Hill on return from injury, both Jaeger O’Meara and Paul Puopolo have been recalled to the senior side, while youngsters Conor Glass and Teia Miles have been omitted.

O’Meara finished his VFL outing with 29 disposals and three goals in a best on-ground performance, while Puopolo was solid, managing 12 touches, five tackles and a goal.

GM-Football Operations Jason Burt says the duo’s call up is a result of determination and hard work through lengthy rehabilitation programs.

“It’s really exciting for Hawks fans to see both these guys back out there,” said Burt.

“Jaeger and Paul have both had extended periods on the sidelines but have completed really strong conditioning blocks, including game time at Box Hill, and are ready for a senior recall.”

Glass and Miles have been listed as emergencies, along with ruckman Marc Pittonet.
