The AFL has today released a teaser of what Tassie fans can expect in season 2018 with the Hawks set to match up against St Kilda in Round 6.

This match will be Hawthorn's first ever night home-and-away game at University of Tasmania Stadium, with the game scheduled for a 7.25pm start on Saturday night in what will be a marquee game for the club.

Hawthorn will play four home-and-away games at UTAS Stadium in Launceston over the course of the season, on top of one JLT Community Series match against Carlton in Week 3 of the competition.

Hawthorn Chief Operating Officer Tim Silvers said:

“Tasmania has truly become our home away from home as we enter our 17th year in what continues to be a terrific partnership,” Slivers said.

“To be a part of the first ever night game at UTAS Stadium and come up against a quality side in St Kilda is really exciting for the club and our fans.

“This match should prove to be a great draw card and I encourage all our Tassie supporters to get along and show their support for what will be a terrific game.”

The full 2018 AFL fixture will be released tomorrow, Tuesday 31 October.
