With the 2018 season around the corner (just 65 days away in fact), we have had a look at which players will be celebrating milestone games this year.

As many as 12 Hawks could be 'raising the bat' at different stages throughout the year, with Shaun Burgoyne’s 350th match headlining an impressive list.

Burgoyne will be hoping to become just the 16th player in the game’s history to reach the 350-game mark, with the Round 9 match-up against the Brisbane Lions poised to be the week he will reach the milestone.

Grant Birchall (250 games), Cyril Rioli (200 games) and James Frawley (200 games) are also set for significant games this season.

The opening month of the campaign will also see three Hawks bring up their 150th game: Jack Gunston (Round 1), Paul Puopolo (Round 2) and Ben Stratton (Round 4).

Reigning Peter Crimmins Medallist Tom Mitchell will bring up game 100 in Round 14, while a quartet of youngsters James Sicily, Tim O’Brien, Daniel Howe and Kaiden Brand should bring up their 50th games if they are to remain regular fixtures in the senior side.
