Hawthorn has added four names to its extended squad set to face the Cats in Easter Monday’s blockbuster clash.

Kaiden Brand, Marc Pittonet, Conor Glass and Harry Morrison have all been included following strong performances for Box Hill last weekend.

Ryan Burton is also a strong chance to play, with Hawthorn’s match committee giving the defender ample opportunity to prove his fitness following an ankle injury in Round 1.

“Burto has been diligent in his recovery this week and is a good chance to line up against the Cats,” GM-Football Graham Wright.

“We still have some more training to get through over the weekend, so we will see how he pulls up and make a call before final team lodgement on Saturday.

“There’s obviously a long time between squad selection and Monday’s game, so we’re going to give him every opportunity to make sure his body is 100 percent right.”

Hawthorn’s squad will be reduced to its final team of 22 at 5pm on Saturday.
