Hawthorn has confirmed two changes to its Round 7 line up set to take on the Bombers this Saturday.

Vice Captain Liam Shiels comes back in, having overcome the back soreness that kept him out of Hawthorn’s Round 6 win, while James Sicily returns after serving his one-match suspension.

David Mirra and James Cousins have been omitted.

“Selection was a difficult task this week,” said GM-Football Graham Wright.

“Obviously Shiels and Sicily coming back in is a real positive for us, but unfortunately Dave Mirra and James Cousins were the unlucky ones to make way.

“Dave has displayed some really good signs since debuting three weeks ago, and showed us he’s not out of place at the top level.

“James had a bit of a quiet night against the Saints, but he is a real up and comer on our list and has a long career ahead of him.

“We’re confident we’ll see both of these boys back at AFL level soon.”

The match between the Hawks and Bombers will be played out at the MCG, and will serve as a replacement game for Hawthorn members.
