Hawthorn has made an additional late change ahead of its clash with Essendon.

Will Langford (back) comes out of the side, replaced by Brendan Whitecross. 

“Langers has just had some back spasms while warming up, and it hasn’t settled down in time for the match,” GM-Football Graham Wright said. 

James Cousins was the other late inclusion, replacing Ricky Henderson (illness).
