Shaun Burgoyne can accept a $2000 sanction after being charged with engaging in rough conduct in the first quarter of Saturday's clash.

The incident, involving Port Adelaide's Jared Polec, was deemed as careless conduct with low impact to the head.

Should he accept the fine with an early plea, Burgoyne will be free to play his 350th game against Adelaide in Round 14 following this week's bye.
