Hawthorn has confirmed three changes to its Round 18 side set to face the Blues.

Exciting youngster James Worpel comes back into the fold, following a season-best 34 disposal, 1 goal performance for Box Hill last weekend.

“James has been in really good touch in the VFL for about a month now,” GM-Football Graham Wright said.

“He brings a lot of energy to the mix, so we’re hopeful he’ll come in and build on his three AFL performances from earlier this year.”

Worpel will be joined by experienced duo Ryan Schoenmakers and Kaiden Brand, as the Hawks look to shake things up following a tough loss against Brisbane last Saturday.

Taylor Duryea and Tim O’Brien have been omitted, while James Sicily will miss with a scaphoid injury.
