The Hawthorn Football Club is proud to have supported the Tasmanian Premier’s Reading Challenge for another year, with more 30,000 students across the state taking part in the initiative.

The challenge sets students the task of reading 10 books in 10 weeks. Students from 166 schools participated, with mover 13,000 successfully competing the challenge.

Hawthorn proudly supported the initiative across the year, contributing several prizes including 300 junior fan packs and football tickets for 2018 home and away season.

The Hawks also co-presenting the Challenge awards ceremony that took place earlier this month.

The ceremony was a culmination of the 10-week program, with 20 students from across the state invited to Parliament House to be recognised for their outstanding efforts.
