The Hawks were up and about early again on Tuesday morning as a big day of training got underway at 8am.

First, the players headed out onto the oval at the Ricoh Centre to work in groups with their teammates in defence, the midfield and forward line.

After over an hour of work outside, where the Melbourne sun began to shine brightly and begin another 30 degree day, the players headed indoors for more training.

Split into groups, one headed to the pool, the other hit the exercise bikes and then another put on the boxing gloves for a tough boxing session.

In pairs, players worked hard for approximately half an hour doing a number of different sets before switching so one could hold the boxing pads and the other work with the gloves.

Once complete, another group of Hawks put on the gloves, while the others hit the bikes and the pool.
