Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Hawks each week, exclusive to hawthornfc.com.au.

LAST WEEK

The top four battle at Aurora Stadium was played on Hawthorn’s terms as the reigning premier won the game at their home-away-from-home by 72 points.

Luke Hodge was the best Fantasy player on the ground, kicking three goals to go with his 23 kicks, eight handballs, seven marks and seven tackles. The captain finished on 148, to maintain his place as the best available Fantasy defender in the competition.

Running through the midfield and collecting disposals at will, 18 kicks and 21 handballs helped Sam Mitchell get to 142 points.

Eleven Hawks scored 106 points or more in the match.

Hawthorn collectively scored 1950 Fantasy points to Fremantle’s 1290 to be one of the most lopsided matches of the year. Just one Fremantle player topped the ton.

In his 100th game, Paul Puopolo scored just the fourth ton of his career thanks to his 18 disposals, 12 tackles and two goals.

TOP 5 SCORERS V FREMANTLE

  • 148 – Luke Hodge (DEF/MID, $567,000)
  • 142 – Sam Mitchell (MID, $554,000)
  • 116 – Grant Birchall (DEF, $414,000)
  • 113 – Luke Breust (FWD, $394,000)
  • 112 – Matt Suckling (DEF, $405000)
  • 112 – Liam Shiels (MID, $575,000)

ON THE RADAR

It’s time to get Jordan Lewis back in if you haven’t already. After starting the season like a house on fire and nudging the $700K price barrier, Lewis had a few scores below par that has brought his price down $64K below where it started in Round 1.

A breakeven of 104 heading into Round 16 put him at possibly the lowest we will see in 2015. Look to upgrade a player to him for $557,000 and hope that he can enjoy the same finish to the year as he did last season, where he averaged 130 over the final six weeks.

WHAT’S COMING UP

The Hawks face the Swans for the second time this year on Saturday night. They travel to ANZ Stadium for the return match - and it is a Fantasy Match Day game where you have the chance to win $10,000.

Last time they met, the Swans won by four points and Sam Mitchell (117), Jordan Lewis (116), Jonathon Ceglar (114), Isaac Smith (106) and Jack Gunston (105) all topped the Fantasy ton.

Pick your team of seven players at fantasy.afl.com.au for your chance to win.
