You can place a bid on Captain Luke Hodge’s 2014 premiership guernsey before it is auctioned off at the 2015 My Room Gala Auction & Ball on Saturday 29 August.

Hodge, who is a My Room ambassador, wore the treasured guernsey in Hawthorn's back-to-back premiership victory last year and has donated it from his personal collection to the charity with whom he has had an association for several years.

The 2014 Grand Final was a memorable occasion for Hodge for three reasons: he raised the cup as a two-time premiership captain, celebrated his 250-game milestone and was awarded the prestigious Norm Smith Medal, making him the third player in VFL-AFL history to be judged best afield in the Grand Final twice having won it previously in 2008.

Hodge set the tone for the Hawks on Grand Final day with his ferocious attack on the man and ball, his leadership and direction setting the tone for the historic victory.

He finished with 35 possessions and 12 marks, but it was his two goals – kicked back-to-back midway through the second quarter – that broke the game open.

Luke Hodge's 2014 Premiership jumper is the rarest of sporting memorabilia, and you can place a bid to secure this truly priceless piece of Australian sporting history by contacting Mary McGowan on 0407 519 852.
