WITH six wins and four losses, Hawthorn is sitting sixth on the ladder heading into the second part of the season.

We take a look at some of the key stats from the opening 10 rounds of 2015.

Midfielder Jordan Lewis leads the competition in a number of areas - disposals per game, kicks per game, uncontested possessions per game and inside 50s per game (equal leader).

Lewis is averaging 32.6 possessions, 18.9 kicks, 21.9 uncontested possessions and six inside 50s each week.

Liam Shiels and Jack Gunston lead the competition in tackles per game and marks respectively.

Pressure machine Shiels averages 7.7 tackles each week, while Gunston has claimed 81 marks for the season.

In terms of disposal efficiency, first-year Hawk James Frawley has been the club's most effective player (to have played multiple games), using the ball at a rate of 90.9%. Round 9 debutant Daniel Howe didn't miss a target after starting as the substitute in his first game. 

Defender Josh Gibson has played a whopping 98.2% of game time in his nine matches for 2015, and is ranked fourth in the competition for marks (76) and third for one-percenters (76).

Sharing is caring - with forwards Gunston and Cyril Rioli sitting equal third in the AFL for goal assists (13 each), narrowly ahead of Bradley Hill (11) and Jarryd Roughead (10).

Sam Mitchell and skipper Luke Hodge have also been prolific stats-wise.

The experienced duo are both in the top 10 players in the competition this season when it comes to disposals per game and uncontested possessions per game, while Hodge ranks second in kicks per game behind reigning Peter Crimmins Medallist, Jordan Lewis.

As a club, Hawthorn leads the way in a number of key statistical areas.

The Hawks lead the way in points scored (averaging 109.4 per game), disposals (401.3 per game), uncontested possessions (261.4 per game), marks (103.7 per game), inside 50s (60.9 per game) marks inside 50 (15.1 per game).

The club is also ranked in the top five for kicks, handballs, contested possessions, disposal efficiency, contested marks, hitouts, clearances, one-percenters and running bounces - just to name a few areas!
