Hawthorn will head into its Round 2 clash unchanged, with Ryan Burton deemed fit to face the Cats.

The young defender was in doubt following an ankle injury sustained against the Pies in Round 1, but has done enough on the training track this week to warrant his inclusion.

“The nine-day break has really helped us this week,” GM- Football Graham Wright said.

“Had it been a six or seven-day break, there could have been a chance that Burto wouldn’t get up in time.

“But full credit to both Burto and our medical and fitness team, who have worked hard to get him in good shape.

“We’re confident he’ll be 100 per cent right come game time.”

Kaiden Brand, Harry Morrison, Conor Glass and Marc Pittonet will serve as emergencies for the Easter Monday hit out.
