To make sure you get your Hawthorn fix during bye week, we're counting down our top individual Hawk performances so far in 2017.

Despite Hawthorn posting just four wins at the half way point of the season, there have still been several individual highlights that have sparked hope and excitement amongst Hawks fans.

In at number seven....

Luke Hodge

Round 4

35 possessions, 5 marks, 5 tackles, 4 rebound 50s, 6 inside 50s

Despite the final score being ugly viewing for the Hawks, Luke Hodge was nevertheless typically clinical against archrivals Geelong in this Easter Monday clash.

In a forgettable afternoon for the Hawks in which they rounded out a winless opening month to the season, Hodge relished the tough contest.

The former skipper was on the wrong end of two big hits from Cats pair Sam Menegola and James Parsons, which saw both players forced to spend a week on the sidelines through suspension.

But the physicality did nothing to concern the 32-year old, who was the lone Hawk to earn AFL Coaches Association votes in the clash.

Hodge has been one of Hawthorn’s most consistent performers through the first 12 rounds, averaging 24.7 possessions, 5.8 marks, 3.2 tackles and 3.1 rebound 50s.
