A big win! Roughy returns with five, Gunners bags four, Cyril slots three and we've posted an 89-point triumph against the Swans.

The Rundown

Hawthorn produced one of its best performances for the year to thrash the Sydney Swans by 89 points at ANZ Stadium in Round 16.

The Hawks scoring ability was on show for all to see, bagging 23 majors while keeping the Swans – one of the premiership favourites – to just seven of their own.

The spread of goal kickers was also a major highlight, with 12 Hawks kicking at least one goal in a thumping win on the road which reaffirmed their status as the main team to beat in 2015.

The Star

Jarryd Roughead was the star up forward for the Hawks, booting five goals to go with 16 disposals and seven marks. There was a scare for the key forward however after sliding across some exposed bolts behind the goals which tore his jumper.

The Moment

Cyril Rioli flies high into the side of a pack to take an extraordinary mark late in the third quarter. He then goes back and kicks one of his three goals for the game.

The Coach

"That (disposal) efficiency was the difference between the two sides really” – Alastair Clarkson
