BOX HILL Hawks will be chasing back-to-back wins, when they face Northern Blues on Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

The Hawks host the Blues at Box Hill City Oval, in an important match for both clubs.

Hawthorn's VFL affiliate enters the match in third spot on the VFL ladder with a 5-2 record, level on points with fourth-placed Sandringham and fifth-placed Collingwood.

The Blues - Carlton's VFL affiliate - sit in 11th spot with a 3-5 record, but are just one game away from sixth.

In-form defender Angus Litherland and ruckman Marc Pittonet have been promoted to the senior side, however there are still 11 Hawthorn-listed players in the Box Hill line-up.

Utility Brendan Whitecross, key defender Kaiden Brand, midfielder Kieran Lovell and rebounding defender Teia Miles are all coming off strong performances in the Hawks' win over North Ballarat last week.
