HAWTHORN ruckman Jonathon Ceglar has been offered a one-match sanction by the AFL Match Review Panel for an incident in Saturday's match against Melbourne.

Ceglar was charged with striking Demon Jesse Hogan in the third quarter of the match.

The incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head, and classified as a two-match sanction.

As Ceglar has no applicable record, an early guilty plea will enable him to accept a one-match ban.
