HE might be retired from AFL football, but triple premiership Hawk Brian Lake proved he still has plenty of skill on Friday night.

Albeit in a different sport.

Donning the blue and white, Lake represented the All Stars XI against the Victory Fans XI in a curtain-raiser to the Melbourne Victory-Adelaide United A-League match at AAMI Park.

While you might have expected Lake to play 'keeper - especially after his spectacular smother in the 2015 AFL Grand Final - he featured more prominently at the other end of the ground.

And as we've come to expect from Lakey, he delivered in style on the big stage.

The former Hawk netted the All Stars' first goal for the night, before outdoing his goal with an epic celebration.

Removing his blue and white top, the Lake had the brown and gold stripes on underneath!

Unfortunately it wasn't enough to get his side over the line, with the All Stars eventually going down 3-2 in the Cancer Council Victoria fundraiser.
